This refrigerator is very nice. Nothing fancy...it does what it's supposed to do. However, after only two weeks the ice maker stopped making ice. I'm currently waiting for a tech person to come and check it out.

Many years ago in the 80's out family owned a Frigidaire refrigerator that last us a very long time. Fast forward mid 90's we had a house fire and could not salvage the refrigerator. A recent kitchen renovation we decided to go with a french door samsung which hardly lasted a little over 10 years. We decided to go with a side by side since we never owned one and chose a Frigidaire because they are made in the USA and also provide adequate parts needed for even late dated models. So far we love the fridge as it provides everything out family needs.

Our LG served us well, 19 years but the water and ice maker died 6 years ago. We figured good time to replace it with the Black Friday sales. Still getting used to the noise the icemaker, ice settling but like the feature.

I am used to a bottom freezer, but this fridge came with our new home. I am in LOVE! It is superbly laid out! There is more than ample space for everything we need! The freezer door has all of the controls on it. They are amazing! A slight touch and it shifts gears. I particularly like the handles as they are a brushed nickel finish which shows zero fingerprints. Absolutely wonderful layout and design for the utmost functionality!

My old fridge went caput! I needed a certain size to accommodate the space I had s d this fridge was the best value . The ice maker takes up a lot of space in the freezer part, it™™s a noisy fridge! The water isn™™t cold out of the dispenser but it works and fits the space I needed it to.

I was amazed at the amount of storage space my new refrigerator has! I previously had a bottom freezer and am really enjoying the side by side design. The water tastes great, and every runs smoothly. One plus I had not expected was the relative quiet operation compared to my last frig which always sounded like someone was breaking into my house! I am glad I tried a Frigidaire.

We have a very short opening for our refrigerator. This unit fits perfectly. It was the same model as the old one. Only difference is the temperature display is not active all time as the old unit.

I love this new fridge! Changing to a smaller fridge worried me at first. Frigidaire did a great thing when they made this size fridge deeper. It really does have the needed space to hold casserole dishes and pizza boxes! The freezer has a great space next to the icebox for frozen pizzas! Frozen pizzas are a must in my freezer and this fridge has the space for them! It does make a lot of funny sounds, but nothing annoying. My only other concern, longevity, which I hear is probably under 5 years now. Isn™™t that bad for our landfills? Fingers crossed for many more years! I can™™t afford new appliances every 5 years! The first 5 months has been good though!

I am so pleased with my new Frigidaire side by side refrigerator model Number: GRSS2352AF. We had a similar model that this one replaced. There seems to have been many changes made. The filter housing has been improved, the crisper drawers slide much easier, the ice crusher works much better, The trip ler for the ice and water has been greatly improved, and the control settings are much easier to use. All in all I couldn't be happier with my new fridge.

Side by side refrigerators are getting harder to find! I love my new fridge with all the options I want on it. I hate drawer freezers which came with the house I bought 3 yrs ago. No more standing on my head and digging everything out to see what™™s lost at the bottom!

Great new fridge. I love how the water/ice dispenser is tall enough to put my bottle in fully. And the filter being inside on the top instead of under the door is great! It keeps all my food at the right temp. And it looks good too.

Replaced French door style with this sis-by-side and we are very happy. I can now see everything in my freezer and get water and ice without opening the door. If this stays maintenance free we will be very happy as our last refrigerator of a different brand had many repairs.

I replaced my old 36™ wide refrigerator with a 34™ one. I don™™t think the contractor gave it much thought when they installed the refrigerator. A 36™ fits but due to the casing around the door where they decided it should go, doesn™™t allow for the refrigerator door to fully open. So it was great finding this 34™ Frigidaire. It fits in nicely and I can open the door all the way.

one replacement for each of the last four years, The call center service is in the Philippines and not in the USA. not cust service on weekends and all replies take 12-48 hours or longer. Worst refrigerator on the market. 4 months of me calling them to get a check, not a replacement, and still no answer. The customer is always right but not to Frigidaire/Electrolux. Do not ever purchase anything from this company. No call center in the USA and yet they sell their crappy products in the USA. Hope they keep my honest review on this site.

We have always purchased Frigidaire refrigerators since we married in 1968, but this is our first on-line purchase via frigidaire.com. We are both 79 years old now and this on-line purchase was a little confusing, but we are learning.

This is a good fridge, but here is one problem that is going to annoy and disappoint 90% of the people who purchase it.First, the good: The side by side arrangement is great, and there's lots of space in the freezer. Tech support is good, and it's easy to buy parts. Problem 1: The water from the front is not chilled. It's actually warmer than water from the tap.Everyone who purchases this fridge will think that it dispenses chilled water. Even the tech support representatives think that. I spent 40 minutes in a chat with John trying to figure out why it wasn't chilled. Below are some excerpts from that chat. I wasted a lot of time trying to solve this.When I found out (manual page 19) that this feature didn't exist, what was I going to do? Return the refrigerator and order a new one?Problem 2: I want fridge doors that will close themselves in all situations. I've had fridges that do that. If you open a door wide on this unit, however, it will stay open. Problem 3: There is a door-open alarm, but it doesn't happen until 5 minutes. That's too long. I may no longer be in the room.Problem 4: When the power goes off then on again, an alarm sounds. If power goes off temporarily while I'm sleeping, I don't want to be awakened by an alarm.Problem 5: Frigidaire is shooting themselves by not including a full complement of shelves. People will complain that it doesn't have enough storage, but another door shelf and another fridge shelf might solve their problem.
