Too much of a hassle getting assistance when there is an issue. Purchased this brand new. It stopped working within the week. They sent a technician out who said it was a manufacturers defect. The turn around time for repair is 3 weeks. Before this I was told by 2 employees to purchased the extended warranty, which I did. (I had one through All State, but canceled in lieu of this one). Now that it™™s been over a week I have lost food due to this defect. I am now being told not only does the 1 year manufacturer™™s warranty not cover spoiled food, but the 5 year extended warranty which does cover spoiled food won™™t take into effect until after the manufacturer™™s warranty has ended. I™™m not sure that™™s legal to sell a product to a customer & then tell them they can™™t use it for a year. Not to mention the warranty I purchased from All State previously went urn to effect immediately, and would have covered this. Frigidaire has not sent any documentation showing these claims, and weren™™t up front about this when I signed up. Horrible company.

This freezer is amazing! We got it setup and plugged in and in no time we were able to move our freezer items on over to this freezer. We have a chest freezer which everything gets barried. I absolutely love this upright you can find everything, you can see what you have and LOTS of room. Thanks Frigidaire for a GREAT freezer, we love it.

Seems to be working well so far. When changing the handing of the doors i found the fastners to be very low quality and almost stripped the heads completely before finishing. Those screws need to be higher quality.

Freezer is working fine during first 2 weeks of ownership. This is the second freezer from Frigidaire I have owned. Left the last one at a residence. When I was ready for another unit I bought another one. I have had good luck.i like the glass shelves as opposed to the wire shelves.

I loved the color of this freezer and the thought of the claimed "automatic closure" of the door. I went in knowing it was smaller than what I was replacing but I wasn't expecting what I got. There are not enough shelves in my opinion and they are NOT deep at all. So instead of having lots of options, you have tall spaces and things get staked up. This is not ideal when you have things that are packaged in slick material or have rounded edges. Stuff keeps falling out when I open the door. And the automatic door closure is not what I expected. Would have stayed with a larger freezer had I known.
